Abstract:Summary
Myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) using nuclear techniques is a well‐established diagnostic tool in the management of patients after acute coronary syndromes (ACS) or acute myocardial infarction (AMI) providing non‐invasively information about perfusion and function. Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) is routinely applied for MPI allowing the characterization of localization, extent and severity of perfusion abnormalities. Gated SPECT MPI is a technique that can accurately define the i… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
