Cardiac arrest following intravenous administration of metaraminol in Takotsubo cardiomyopathy

Abstract: A sixty-year-old female presented to the emergency department with a perforated duodenal ulcer. Whilst awaiting surgery she developed chest pain and ST segment changes consistent with an inferior myocardial infarction.
