En embarazos más avanzados existen varios esquemas de los cuales el más aceptado es la cesá-El factor más importante para determinar la sobrevida del cáncer de cérvix en la gestante, al igual que en la no gestante, es el estadio al momento del tratamiento (4,6,7,11,(23)(24)(25); aquélla varía desde e1100% de curación en el cáncer in situ y en el estadio IA, hasta el 16.2% en los estadios III y IV, cuando se hace seguimiento de cinco años (6). Se ha observado que en los estadios más avanzados del carcinoma de cérvix el embarazo tiene un efecto desfavorable porque plantea dificultades diagnósticas y complica, modifica y obliga a aplazar o interrumpir los tratamientos; por ejemplo hay problemas con la dosimetría de la radiación y es necesario interrumpir ésta frecuentemente a causa de sepsis originada en la pelvis.…”
