Abstract:O carcinoma de vesícula biliar é uma neoplasia rara, agressiva e que trás um prognóstico sombrio, isso porque é habitual o diagnóstico da mesma em um estágio avançado em decorrência das manifestações clínicas e sintomas apresentarem-se tardiamente. Apresenta-se geralmente entre a 6ª e a 7ª décadas de vida e é de 2 a 3 vezes mais comum no sexo feminino em comparação ao masculino.
