The object of the study is Manufacturing Execution System. The relevance of the study is conditioned by the fact that the metallurgical industry has been demonstrating a high level of volatility in the global market over the past few years. The issue of the effectiveness of the metallurgical enterprise is directly related to ensuring environmental safety. The purpose of the study is to consider how the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) operates in the metallurgical industry and highlight its features, offering recommendations aimed at improving operational efficiency with the introduction of MES systems at enterprises of the metallurgical industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The following methods were used in the study: analysis, synthesis, comparison, graphical representation of data. Using the example of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, the study examined the relationship between MES and APCS (Automated Process Control System), highlighted the requirements for the transition from individual management of particular cases of technological rules and restrictions to the digitization of general algorithms. It was defined that the advantages of a production system include its fast payback. Also, it was determined that the MES system allows automating production operations and information support, carrying out operational planning, accounting for production and quality of metal products, tracking the history of each product, managing equipment, and analyzing performance. In addition, the recommendations that can be used as a basis for creating an enterprise development program, increasing the level of productivity, therefore, reducing the cost of the enterprise's products, were developed

Monoalkyl carbonates (MACs) or, more broadly, hemiesters of carbonic acid (HECAs), constitute a class of compounds that are omnipresent in our lives, once formed by the reaction of carbon dioxide with alcohols. Despite their commonness, MACs are elusive in solution and went largely unnoticed by most researchers until the recent resurgence of interest in studying their properties, relevance (e.g., in CO2 capture), and analysis (for example, in foods, drinks, and sugars), by using techniques like NMR, MS, and CE. This literature review, spanning almost two centuries, sheds light on the importance of the chemistry of MACs. Their subtle formation can be responsible for significant changes in the charge and electronic characteristics of compounds with an alcohol functional group, altering properties such as solubility, polarity, diffusion coefficient, and conductivity. Such changes in properties lead to the hypothesis that MAC formation may play an important role also in the biological environment, including membrane transport. Many questions remain open in the rich emerging research field of the chemistry of MACs, and better understanding is essential for advancing the knowledge of these ubiquitous compounds and their potential impact on various processes and products.

It has been shown that there exist conditions under which thermosensitive copolymers of N-vinylpyrrolidone with methyl acrylate form hydrophobic–hydrophilic associations, which are unstable dynamic meshes, the bonds in which are continuously broken and created again, and the nature of the formation of such meshes depends significantly on the proportion of the hydrophobic component in the copolymer. It is shown that the interaction of the above copolymers with polyacrylic acid results in the formation of not only classical interpolymer complexes, but also hydrophilic interpolymer associates, which also represent unstable networks existing in a dynamic mode. In such meshes, the molecules of the above copolymers serve as a kind of cross-agent connecting the polyacid molecules. There are also conditions under which such meshes acquire a complex structure, since unstable bonds between macromolecular tangles of both the same and different types take part in their formation. It is shown that the transition from the formation of interpolymer complexes to the formation of hydrophilic interpolymer associates can occur, among other things, due to changes in the acidity or concentration of low-molecular salt in solution.
