Abstract:Chiral atomically precise metal clusters, known for their remarkable chiroptical properties, hold great potential for applications in chirality recognition. However, advancements in this field have been constrained by the limited exploration of host−guest chemistry, involving metal clusters. This study reports the synthesis of a chiral Cu 16 (C 2 B 10 H 10 S 2 ) 8 (denoted as Cu 16 @CB 8 , where C 2 B 10 H 12 S 2 H 2 = 9,12-(HS) 2 -1,2-closocarborane) cluster by an achiral carboranylthiolate ligand. The chiral… Show more
The size disproportionation of nanocluster transformation was investigated based on controllable Au-doping on a (AgCu)43 nanocluster, which produced size-increased (AuAgCu)56 and size-reduced (AuAgCu)33 simultaneously.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
