Umsetzungen von trans-MC1(CO)(PPh3)2 (M = Rh, Ir) rnit den Natrium-Derivaten der ortho-substituierten zweizahnigen Hybridliganden 2-Ph2PC6H4XH (,PXH'; X = O , S) ergaben in glatter Reaktion die Chelatkomplexe M(CO)(PPh3)(,q2-PX'), M/X = Rh/O ( l a ) , Ir/O (Za), Rh/S (1 b), Ir/S (2 b), von denen die Rhodiumverbindung 1 a durch Einkristall-Rontgenstrukturanalyse vollstandig charakterisiert wurde. Die Komplexe 1 and 2 reagierten rnit SO2 in reversibler Weise unter Bildung der Addukte M(S02)(CO)(PPh3)(,q2-PX'), MIX = Rh/O (3a), Ir/O (4a), Rh/S (3 b), Ir/S (4b). Die gleichfalls reversibel verlaufende oxidative Addition von H2 an die Iridiumkomplexe 2a und 2 b fuhrte zu den cis-Dihydriden IrH2(CO)(PPh3)(,q2-PX'), X = 0 (5 a), S (5 b).
