Abstract: In this study, a high temperature in-situ route is reported for the synthesis of one dimensional carbon nitride supported bismuth sulfide nanoparticles. The x-ray diffraction study confirmed the formation of orthorhombic crystal structure of bismuth sulfide with the space group of Pnma (62). The synthesized product was used as an electrode material for supercapacitor application.
