Carbon fiber truss support technology for high resolution space camera

Abstract

With the continuous development of space technology and space homework task requires unceasing enhancement, the world have full access to high resolution remote sensing era, people are eager to RMB space remote sensing camera can achieve higher resolution and better dynamic transfer function, to get clearer the ground of the full image, to provide more field data sources. Truss as main between optical element of space remote sensing camera support structure, to reduce the number of cameras in the process of emission by shock, vibration, overload and other complex changes in the external environment, must meet with good strength, stiffness and structural stability index, to ensure that the optical element will always keep the position of the imaging accuracy does not change, to ensure the quality of the camera's image. Based on the practical application of a ϕ 400 mm space camera, this paper studies the high-precision carbon fiber composite truss rod support structure, and studies the rationality and stability of the truss structure from theoretical analysis, structural design and optimization, engineering analysis and other aspects. Through the comparative analysis of the truss type main load bearing structure, the double layer multi-bar truss support structure with stable structure form is selected and combined with the use of Hypermesh/Patran/Nastran and other finite element analysis software, the static analysis, static temperature coupling analysis and dynamic analysis of the designed truss support structure respectively. The analysis results show that the stiffness of the truss structure is good, and the position of the primary and secondary mirrors does not change much under the joint action of temperature load and microgravity, and the thermal stability is good, and the resonance of the truss can be effectively avoided during the launching process. The acceleration response of sinusoidal vibration analysis and random vibration analysis is within the required range, indicating that the strength and dynamic stiffness characteristics of the truss are good, which can meet the requirements of the characteristic frequency of the whole structure for the space camera.
