Características climáticas da Bacia Hidrográfica do Rio Cachoeira, Joinville (SC)

Abstract

RESUMOA Bacia Hidrográfica do Rio Cachoeira está localizada na cidade de Joinville, nordeste de Santa Catarina. O território dessa bacia possui importância fundamental no desenvolvimento do município, pois nela residem aproximadamente 50% da população, e está localizado na área central, com ampla dinâmica política, social e econômica. O clima de uma região se reflete no cotidiano, na cultura, na economia, entre outras influências, ou seja, é uma característica física notória. Entender a dinâmica climática dessa bacia é de fundamental importância para o desenvolvimento sustentável do município ante as mudanças climáticas. Portanto, o presente estudo teve o objetivo de realizar uma análise das características climáticas. Para tanto, foram utilizados dados de temperatura do ar, ventos (direção e velocidade), umidade relativa do ar e precipitação pluviométrica, de diferentes estações meteorológicas, buscando assim uma representatividade da bacia. Dentre os principais resultados estão que a precipitação média anual na bacia é de 1.957,3 mm, o mês mais chuvoso é janeiro, os meses mais secos são junho e julho. A temperatura média anual é de 22,4°C, sendo fevereiro o mês mais quente, e julho o mês mais frio. A umidade relativa do ar média atinge 80,76%. A direção predominante dos ventos é de leste. The territory of this basin is of fundamental importance in the development of the city, as it resides approximately 50% of the population, and the central area is located, with ample political, social and economic dynamics. The climate of a region is reflected in the daily life, culture, economy, among other influences, that is, it is a notorious physical characteristic. Understanding the climatic dynamics of this basin is of fundamental importance for the sustainable development of the municipality front of climatic changes, this being the objective of the present study, to perform an analysis of the climatic characteristics. For that, data of air temperature, winds (direction and speed), relative humidity, and precipitation, of different meteorological stations were used, thus looking for a representative of the basin. Among the main results are that the average annual rainfall in the basin is 1,957.3 mm, the wettest month is January, and the driest months are June and July. The average annual temperature is 22.4°C, February being the warmest month, and July the coldest month. The average of the relative humidity is 80.76%. And the prevailing direction of the winds is east.
