Цель. представить возможности использования видеокапсульной эндоскопии в диагностике желу-дочно-кишечных кровотечений.Материал и методы. проанализированы результаты использования видеокапсульной эндоскопии в клинической больнице № 122 Фмба россии за период с апреля 2010 г. по декабрь 2011 г. за данный период обследованы 32 пациента (17 мужчин и 15 женщин). в работе использовали эндокапсулу ес type 1 (фирма "Olympus").Результаты. из 32 пациентов патологические изменения слизистой оболочки тонкой кишки выявле-ны у 17 (53,1%): новообразования тонкой кишки -2 (аденокарцинома (кровотечение) -1, лейомиосаркома (кровотечение) -1); болезнь крона -6; ангиодисплазии -2; целиакия -1; портальная гипертензивная энтеропатия -1; кишечная лимфангиэктазия -2; лимфофолликулярная гиперплазия -1; полип тонкой кишки -1; рубцовые изменения зоны кишечного анастомоза -1. в абдоминальной хирургии ведущим по-казанием для проведения капсульной эндоскопии являются тонкокишечные кровотечения. из 4 пациентов с признаками «скрытого» желудочно-кишечного кровотечения у 2 отмечалось активное кровотечение в просвет тонкой кишки. причина одного из них была установлена на основе оценки изображений, получен-ных капсулой (аденокарцинома), в другом случае характер источника кровотечения был определен только интраоперационно (лейомиосаркома).Заключение. видеокапсульная эндоскопия позволяет получить недоступные ранее данные о состо-янии тонкой кишки и вывести диагностику желудочно-кишечных кровотечений на новый качественный уровень. у пациентов с клинической картиной анемии и желудочно-кишечного кровотечения видеокап-сульная эндоскопия рекомендуется как третий метод диагностики при отрицательных результатах гастро-дуоденоскопии и колоноскопии. To present the potential of the video capsule endoscopy in the diagnostics of the gastrointestinal bleedings.Methods. The results of the video capsule endoscopy in the clinical hospital № 122 of FMBA of Russia from April, 2010 till December, 2011 have been analyzed. 32 patients (17 males and 15 females) have been surveyed during this period. The video capsule EU type 1 ("Olympus" corporation) was used in the research.results. Out of total 32 patients, the pathological changes in the mucous membrane of the small intestine were revealed in 17 (53,1%): small bowel neoplasia -in 2; adenocarcinoma (bleeding) -in 1; leiomyosarcoma (bleeding) -in 1); Cron's disease -in 6; angiodysplasia -in 2; celiac disease -in 1; portal hypertensive enteropathy -in 1; an intestinal lymphangiectasia -in 2; lymphfollicular hyperplasia -in 1; polyp of the small intestine -in 1; cicatricial changes of the intestinal anastomosis -in 1. In the abdominal surgery the leading indication for the capsule endoscopy conduction is considered to be a small intestine bleeding. Abstract-Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (WCE) generates a large number of images in one examination of a patient. It is very laborious and time-consuming to detect the WCE video, and so limits the wider application of WCE. Color similarity measurement is the key technique of color image segmentation and recognition, as well as the premise of bleeding detection in WCE images. This paper deduces two color vector similarity coefficients to measure the color similarity degree in RGB color space, and based on which, a novel method of intelligent bleeding detection in WCE image is implemented. The novel algorithm is implemented in RGB color space, and is featured with simple computation and practicability. The experiments showed that the bleeding regions in WCE images can be correctly extracted, and the sensitivity and specificity of this algorithm were 90% and 97% respectively.

The reading time and interpretation of CE exams is very time consuming given that more than 50,000 images have to be reviewed (Delvaux & Gay, 2006;Mergener et al, 2007), which contributes to the high cost of a CE exam (Westerhof et al, 2009). Thus, a computer assisted diagnosis tool to help the physicians to evaluate CE exams faster and more accurately is an important technical challenge and an excellent economical opportunity.…”
