Abstract: As a result of their complex nature, the separation of proteins and glycoproteins by capillary electrophoresis (CE) is a challenge. Fortunately, a number of approaches allow for effective analysis of these biomolecules. Of particular concern is the proclivity of proteins and their glycoconjugates to adsorb to the capillary wall.
