Abstract:El himno nacional representa una composición de carácter poético-musical que fomenta el civismo de su gente, es un canto épico nacional.
Entre 1810 y 1887, Ecuador, Colombia, Perú y Venezuela crearon sus himnos que giran en torno a conceptos relacionados con Patria y otros constructos inherentes a la idea de nación. La semántica permite un análisis intertextual inédito, que aportan al proceso de construcción de una identidad, “marcas rituales de la existencia política del pueblo” (Buch, 2008).
