Cancer incidence and mortality in Poland

Abstract: This article presents the epidemiology of cancer in Poland. Methods: Data from the National Cancer Registry were used. Results: It was found that the highest number of cancer cases among women concerns breast (22.8%), lung (9.5%) and colorectal cancer (9.0%), and among men: prostate cancer (19.3%), lung cancer (17.5%) and colorectal cancer (11.5%).
