Cancer epidemiology fieldwork in a resource-limited setting: Experience from the western Kenya ESCCAPE esophageal cancer case-control pilot study

Abstract: Background: Case-control studies remain an important study design for aetiologic research on cancer, particularly when cohorts are not available.
