Abstract: Overview According to the World Health Organization (WHO) there are over 14 million new cancer cases per year worldwide. As the epidemiologic transition continues, we see increases in cancer incidence in developing nations with more than 50% of all new cancers occurring in low‐ and middle‐income countries.
