Abstract: Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) are critical components of the tumor microenvironment. Several studies demonstrated molecular differences between CAFs and normal tissue-associated fibroblasts (NAFs). In this study, we isolated CAFs and NAFs from liver tumors and analyzed their DNA methylation profiles.
