Cancer and Chaos and the Complex Network Model of a Multicellular Organism

Abstract: In the search of theoretical models describing cancer, one of promising directions is chaos. It is connected to ideas of “genome chaos” and “life on the edge of chaos”, but they profoundly differ in the meaning of the term “chaos”. To build any coherent models, notions used by both ideas should be firstly brought closer. The hypothesis “life on the edge of chaos” using deterministic chaos has been radically deepened developed in recent years by the discovery of half-chaos. This new view requires a deeper inter… Show more

“…In order to protect the privacy and ensure the security of image transmission, the synchronization results are utilized in the image cryptosystem to achieve compression and encryption. In the last few years, because of multiple complexities like initial value sensitivity, pseudo‐randomness and ergodicity [1–3], chaos has been a hot research field and has been applied in many aspects [4–6]. Especially, chaos signal can be utilized to mask the image information and is hard to identify in transmission, so it is widely applied in image encryption and transmission [7–9].…”

“…Learning does not interfere with existing memory, allowing newly generated solutions to seamlessly integrate with prior information. The system's capability to store alternative actions in memory enables rapid behavioural changes in situations where the emergence of any one of multiple possible responses is uncertain (Gecow et al., 2022; Komarov et al., 2010). Healthy adaptability, autonomy and openness to new experiences can be demonstrated by chaotic systems.…”
