Canadian Physicians' Use of Perioperative Botulinum Toxin Injections to Spastic Limbs: A Cross-sectional National Survey

Abstract: Highlights A subset of Canadian physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and plastic surgeons are using perioperative botulinum toxin (BoNT). Forty-one percent of Canadian respondents stated that they were not notified of their patient's surgical date. Increased collaboration between specialties and the creation of national guidelines will increase the benefits of perioperative BoNT surgical outcomes.
