Abstract:Intraoperative electrocorticography (iECoG) is used as an adjunct to localize the epileptogenic zone during surgical resection of brain tumors in patients with focal epilepsies. It also enables monitoring of after-discharges and seizures with EEG during functional brain mapping with electrical stimulation.
