Can neutral episodic memories become emotional? Evidence from facial expressions and subjective feelings

Abstract: Maladaptive emotional memories are a transdiagnostic feature of mental health problems. Therefore, understanding whether and how emotional memories can change might help to prevent and treat mental disorders.
