Can Machiavellianism Not be Prosocial? Roles of Empathy and Death Anxiety

Abstract: Machiavellianism has always been notorious, as it is egotistical and manipulative. This study aims to explore whether Machiavellian individuals would increase prosocial behavior to buffer death anxiety, based on Terror Management Theory.
