Abstract:Background and Objectives: Differentiation between brucella spondylodiscitis and Modic type I changes (MC1) includes difficulties. Hematological inflammatory indices (HII) such as neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and aggregate index of systemic inflammation (AISI) are suggested as indicators of inflammation and infection and have diagnostic, prognostic, and predictive roles in various diseases.
