Can Fitting in Green Beans: Effect of Growing Season, Base Steel Composition, Tinplate Thickness, Can Vacuum and Storage Conditions

Abstract: Spring and fall growa green beans were packed under high and low vacuum conditions in high and low residual Al, Ni, Cu, Si, S, and Mn base steel .25 and .50 electrotin plated J-enamel cans and evaluated during storagu at 38°C and room temperature for pitting on and under the sdeseams.
