Can Black Holes or Other Relativistic Space Objects Be a Source of Dark Energy?

Abstract: We consider the hypothesis that the sources of dark energy (DE) could be black holes (BHs) or more exotic objects, such as naked singularities or gravastars. We propose a definition of the presence of DE in the Universe and a criterion for what can be considered the source of this dark energy.
