Can a Negative High-Sensitivity Troponin Result Rapidly Rule Out Acute Myocardial Infarction?

Abstract: A single, undetectable, high-sensitivity, cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) test in combination with a nonischemic ECG result may effectively rule out acute myocardial infarction in emergency department (ED) patients presenting greater than 3 hours after symptom onset.
