Camus and Nietzsche on politics in an age of absurdity

Abstract: This article examines the significance of Friedrich Nietzsche to Albert Camus' concepts of absurdity and revolt. It rests on three related claims. First, that Nietzsche's critique of metaphysics (foundationalism) is the point of departure for Camus' absurdist inquiries.
