“…In late mergers, it is notable that the values of the ). The contribution of near-IR emission from old stellar populations (e.g., Polletta et al 2007) is extracted by the multiwavelength SED analysis, where the origin of the ∼3-10 μm excess can be explained by additional nuclear hot dust heated by AGNs, such as the inner part of the dusty disk and/or hot polar dust within the inner parsecs (e.g., Hönig et al 2013;García-Bernete et al 2017, 2022Lyu et al 2017;Mattila et al 2018;Lyu & Rieke 2021;Mizukoshi et al 2022). Near-IR excess in samples of type 1 AGNs is well reported (Netzer et al 2007;Mor et al 2009;Mor & Netzer 2012) and this hot dust component can also be part of the known outflows in Mrk 231 (e.g., Feruglio et al 2015;Morganti et al 2016;Veilleux et al 2016).…”

“…However a different dimension to the issue is highlighted by pointing out that anti-critical thinking practices can be detrimental to the development of critical thinking skills [363,364]. Such practices can limit free speech, suppress dissenting opinions, and promote misinformation, which can hinder the understanding of complex topics [365,366]. Therefore, it is essential to address the issue of anti-critical thinking to ensure that individuals develop the necessary skills to navigate the complex information landscape of social media.…”
