Calreticulin: non‐endoplasmic reticulum functions in physiology and disease

Abstract: Calreticulin (CRT), when localized to the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), has important functions in directing proper conformation of proteins and glycoproteins, as well as in homeostatic control of cytosolic and ER calcium levels.
