Abstract. The paper discusses a symbiotic model of the traffic flow, based on the classical model of the longitudinal dynamic gauge of the automobile and an alternative model developed by the authors. The presented mathematical model makes it possible to quantify the dynamic characteristics of the traffic flow for various levels of speed limitation and for a wide range of road conditions. The problem of structural and parametric identification of the mathematical model is challenging. A solution to this problem is based on the traffic flow theory, regression analysis and dynamic programming.

Abstract. This article describes a methodology that shows how it is possible to integrate all these approaches in a problem for extrapolation of the parameters for hydrotechical tunnels. During the design process for tunnels in hydrotechics, one of the main problems is how to extrapolate the deformability and shear strentgh rock mass parameters from the zone of testing to the whole area (volume) of interes for interaction analyses between structure abd natural environments. Computers development in recent decades has contributed to the development of numerical calculation method in rock mechanics which enabled new and wider possibilities of stress and deformation calculation. This had significantly stimulated the development of rock mechanics and tunneling as scientific and technical discipline as well as the wider application of research results into practice.

Abstract. This article describes the process of examining bridges. AB road bridge, founded on the columns by the Karpoš system and damaged due to erosive action of the river, is given as an example. The first tests of the bridge are conducted on the impact load of V 300, because of the appearance of longitudinal cracks. The results of the columns testing are presented in this paper, as well as the rehabilitation measures thus increasing the load capacity of the column.
