Calibrating Range Measurements of Lidars Using Fixed Landmarks in Unknown Positions

Abstract: We consider the problem of calibrating range measurements of a Light Detection and Ranging (lidar) sensor that is dealing with the sensor nonlinearity and heteroskedastic, range-dependent, measurement error.
