“…The author's observations are in agreement with the findings of Allison, Skinner & Reid (1925) who reported that dicyandiamide at the rate of 40 lb./A in combination with sodium nitrate decreased the green weight of wheat plants by 17% on Norfolk sandy loam and 13 % on Chester loam. Nommik (1959) reported that adding dicyandiamide to supply 100 mg. N/6-2 kg. soil did not influence yield or the amount of nitrogen absorbed by plants.…”
