CH Bond Borylation and Silylation via Iron Catalysis

Abstract: Organoboron and organosilicon compounds are powerful building blocks in organic synthesis and are widely employed in Suzuki–Miyaura and Hiyama cross‐coupling reactions. Various methods for the construction of CB and CSi bonds have been developed. This article focuses on CH bond borylation and silylation of (hetero)arenes, alkenes, and alkanes via iron catalysis.
