By Way of Introduction: We Need Good Mathematics for All Students

Abstract: “Let's Abolish General Math!” is the title of the “Soundoff” by Thomas E. Seddon in the September 1990 issue of the Mathematics Teacher. The high school teacher advocating this course of action also stated, “But let's not abandon the general-math student.”
