Our chapter explores the operational management challenges and strategic responses of Shell Company, particularly in the face of increasing environmental pressures and global competition. The first section provides an overview of Shell's background and operational management issues. The second section discusses Shell's key operational strategies, including infrastructure location analysis, factor rating, cost-return analysis, product and process layout, and both internal and external system reforms. The third section identifies current management challenges and offers detailed suggestions for improving Shell's operational management. These suggestions include developing clear sustainable development goals, investing in green technologies, promoting carbon neutrality, enhancing stakeholder cooperation, improving employee environmental awareness, strengthening transparency and accountability, and establishing crisis response capabilities.
