This research analyses the influence of market orientation and competitive advantage on MSMEs’ marketing performance, with competitive advantage as a moderating variable. The research methodology employs path analysis using Smart PLS software version 4.0 and involves 397 MSME owners in Jambi City, Jambi Province, Indonesia. The analysis results indicate that market orientation and competitive advantage significantly influence MSME marketing performance. Additionally, competitive advantage moderates, strengthening the relationship between market orientation and marketing performance. These findings have practical implications for MSME owners, suggesting that focusing on developing market orientation and competitive advantage can enhance their marketing performance. Furthermore, this study contributes to the theoretical understanding of factors influencing MSMEs marketing performance and encourages further research on elements that most impact competitive advantage. It also provides recommendations for policymakers to support enhancing MSME marketing performance through various supportive policies. However, this research has limitations, such as the lack of specific elements of market orientation with significant impacts and a need to better understand the moderation mechanism between market orientation and marketing performance through competitive advantage, which could be subjects of future research.

Collaborative Systems have played major role developing performances in organizations, increase efficiency in taking right decisions, increase coordination and communication among various departments in the organization, and allow managers to detect errors and deal with them effectively. Collaborative Systems have provided link between organization and stakeholders and allow them to participate in decision making for better implementation and adoption. Collaborative systems have great influence on companies working in governmental sector like DEWA, DU, and Dubai Municipality. Those systems have played major roles in increasing effectiveness, coordination among various departments, allow those companies to provide better services, reducing duplications of processes(save time), saving resources to reduce operating costs, and increase collaboration with private sectors and civil society to achieve what is best for the organization and society as well. In this paper we will focus on the importance of collaborative systems in most successful public organizations in Dubai (DEWA, DU, and Dubai Municipality) by focusing on real situations or cases they face with collaborative systems and how they deal with it in order to develop a clear perspective that will benefit us in our future careers.

This research investigates the relationship between process quality improvement, lean practices, and manufacturing competitive performance in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) within the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The UAE has emerged as a dynamic hub for SME manufacturing, making it crucial to examine factors that contribute to their competitive advantage. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative data from in-depth interviews with key industry experts and quantitative data obtained through structured surveys distributed among a diverse sample of SME manufacturing firms across different sectors. The study focuses on evaluating the adoption and implementation of process quality improvement initiatives and lean practices within these organizations. The findings highlight a strong positive correlation between effective process quality improvement and lean practices and improved manufacturing competitive performance among UAE SMEs. Firms that successfully integrated lean methodologies into their processes demonstrated higher levels of operational efficiency, reduced waste, increased productivity, and improved product quality. Additionally, the research identifies critical success factors and challenges in the implementation of process quality improvement and lean practices in the context of UAE SMEs. Factors such as top management commitment, employee involvement, and access to training and resources are instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
