Abstract:Aims: An adjuvant to a local anaesthetic can potentiate spinal anesthesia and provide better postoperative analgesia. Our study has been drafted to evaluate and compare the analgesic potency of the adjuvants, buprenorphine and magnesium, to intrathecal 0.5% hyperbaric bupivacaine.
