Abstract:Annotation. The total anthocyanins content, total carotenoid content and total content of chlorophylls a and b in leaves of fruit and berry crops common to the Western Kazakhstan region were analyzed using UV-vis spectrophotometry. Twelve plant species were studied in this work. Anthocyanins level in leaves varied from 0.041 to 0.532 mg/g, carotenoid levels were from 0.56 to 3.87 μg/g dry weight.
