Bulk Metallic Glasses and Their Composites: A Brief History of Diverging Fields

Abstract: Bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) and their derivative metal matrix composites (BMGMCs) are emerging high-performance engineering materials that are on the precipice of widespread commercialization.
