Abstract:Background: The Mobile Renewal System (MRS) has increased insurance renewal rates among Ghana's National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) subscribers. However, population coverage with active NHIS membership remains insufficient for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) ambitions, especially among informal workers.
