Building a Performance Information System for Statewide Residential Treatment Services

Abstract: This article presents a process for building a state-level performance information system for psychiatric residential treatment facilities for children and youth. Based on a consensus-based program model, researchers identified information needs of stakeholders for measuring clinical outcome measures and for monitoring outcomes after clients are discharged from programs.
