Building (1+1) holographic superconductors in the presence of non-linear Electrodynamics
Grigoris Panotopoulos
Abstract:In the framework of the gauge/gravity duality, and in particular of the AdS 3 /CF T 2 correspondence, we study one-dimensional superconductors analyzing the dual (1+2)-dimensional gravity in the presence of the Einstein-power-Maxwell non-linear Electrodynamics. In the probe limit we compute the critical temperature of the transition as a function of the mass of the scalar field. The computation is performed analytically employing the Rayleigh-Ritz variational principle. The comparison with a power Maxwell fiel… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
