“…The overall practice of mentoring has many forms and uses. Simpson et al (2022) describe types of mentoring, such as classic (one-to-one) mentoring, friend to friend, group mentoring, mentoring across different agencies and professional disciplines, multiple mentors, distant mentoring, peer mentoring, and reciprocal mentoring" (p. 1). This case study incorporates the strategic use of three types within the added context of peer mentoring: (1) individual peer mentors assigned to a small faceto-face student learner group, (2) multiple peer mentors interacting together faceto-face with small student learner groups, and (3) several distant/remote peer mentors assigned to two or three groups of remote online learners.…”
