“…At present, theoretical analysis method and finite element simulation have become important way to analyze the critical failure load of buckling behavior. For theoretical analysis, Sun et al 15 analyzed the mechanical characteristics of the hydraulic cylinder rod and the reason of buckling failure. The formula of moment of inertia of different cross sections was firstly deduced, and the calculation formula of the critical force of the hydraulic cylinder rod with defects was obtained by doing research on the rod with the cylindrical defects.…”
