“…We follow the Reissner±Mindlin model to consider shear deformations and use the assumed strain method (Dvorkin and Bathe, 1984) to alleviate shear locking problem. In order to model stiffened structures, we also consider section eccentricity neither to use the rigid links (Jiang et al, 1997) nor to introduce dummy layers (Stiftinger et al, 1995). We solve several numerical examples to show the effectiveness of the proposed element for geometrical non-linear shell structures.…”
