Bronchoscopic surfactant administration preserves gas exchange and pulmonary compliance after single lung transplantation in dogs

Abstract: Bronchoscopic surfactant administration does not prevent leukocyte influx or vascular leakage but does protect against respiratory failure and improves lung mechanics in single lung transplantation in dogs.
