Abstract: Purpose: Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is a chronic lung disease that primarily affects premature infants receiving mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy. Severe BPD leads to long-term respiratory complications, including lung tissue damage, vascular abnormalities, and airway diseases.
