Broadband Supercontinuum Generation Using Dispersion Engineered As₂Se₃-GeAsSe-GeAsS Waveguide at 6 μm

Abstract: This paper reports a theoretical study of supercontinuum generation with a novel dispersion-engineered reverse rib waveguide design using chalcogenide materials such as As 2 Se 3 glass as a core, GeAsSe and GeAsS as cladding. This structure achieves an ultrawide bandwidth supercontinuum spectrum because of its high nonlinear property of core material and the low mode loss.
