“…Esperandio’s recent database search found 67 studies that used the RSS or referred to it ( Esperandio et al, 2022 ). Besides her own validation of the RSS in the Brazilian context, the RSS was also validated in Poland ( Zarzycka et al, 2018 ), Iran ( Ebrahimi Jamarani et al, 2022 ), among people with Jewish ( Abu-Raiya et al, 2016 ) and Muslim ( Abu-Raiya et al, 2015 )) religion in Israel, and in the Czech Republic ( Janu et al, n.d. ). While the Brazilian, Iranian, Polish, and Jewish samples revealed similar psychometric properties to the original RSS version, the Muslim sample was different, resulting in five sub-domains: three sub-domains identical to the original (Interpersonal, Moral, Ultimate Meaning), one sub-domain with items from the two dimensions Doubt and Divine, and the fifth sub-domain was composed of Demonic items and one item of the Divine domain.…”
