Brevibacterium litoralis sp. nov., isolated from marine surface sediment

Abstract: A Gram stain-positive, non-spore-forming, non-motile, short-rod actinomyces strain GXQ1321T was isolated from maritime surface sediments in Beihai, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and a number of categorization studies were performed. Following a period of 72 hours of incubation at a temperature of 30°C within an actinomycetes culture medium, the colony was yellow, circular, smooth, central bulge, convex, opaque, with a 1.8-3.0 mm diameter.
